Update

So here's another update on my life. School is on the upside of things these days...great classes and teachers...and best of all, wonderful friends. I've gotten my grade up in geometry, which was desperately needed (in my opinion), and I'm officially a student council representative...which means going to meetings before school and selling stuff. How fun. There's a dance coming up in February that I'll be going to with no one in particular...yet. I could end up with someone besides my close group of girl friends by the time it rolls around...maybe. It all depends on how things go this week. In other news, I've joined a volleyball team and I go to practice (it kills) every Monday and Tuesday for 2 hours, and tournaments are every other Saturday or so starting next month. It'll be pretty fun, I think.

As for a goal to pursue this year, I still haven't thought of anything. Maybe I'll go hunt down recipes and make them...or write 400 words of my book every day...or even read a certain amount of minutes. What are your thoughts?

I'm on a quest

As of today, I want a goal for the rest of the year. Something like on the movie "Julie and Julia". Julie goes through an entire cookbook in a year -- one recipe a day. I would love something like that, but I don't quite know what I want to do yet. Any suggestions anyone?

New Years

I just remembered that Saturday was New Years day! And yesterday...I didn't even say anything! So yeah. HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!

Long time

I realized today while sitting around doing nothing at the end of this uneventful break from school, I haven't posted ANYTHING useful on here for what seems like forever...so here I am being bored and posting about nothing in particular. So bear with me as I try to be more constant about blogging. Recently, nothing has happened much, but I realize that I haven't even told whoever reads this thing that I have a niece now!!! Ever since April 27, 2010. She's about the cutest little girl you could ever see...in my opinion. She's a real sweetie too. In other news, my brother is now in the Army and gets to come home at the end of this month! But of course, this means that he's going to take over my room yet again, and I'll be stuck sleeping in my sister's room. Oh well. It's only until he finds somewhere else to live, which theoretically speaking, shouldn't take too terribly long. I hope. My sister, Katy, lives in Missouri and is at Missouri State University, and majoring in Violin Performance. My other sister, Carrie, is happily married and living in Rexburg, ID with her husband. Camille and I are still at home for a few more years...of course. I'm doing a lot better with cello now, and I'm working on my singing voice and piano playing. Maybe I'll post a video later on. So for now, that's about it and I'll try to remember to keep you guys posted! =)
